Makena, a native of the Republic of South Africa, discovered his profound passion for art and design from a young age, nurturing it through his formative years by expressing his creativity on various canvases, be it on the ground or the classroom chalkboard.
His journey of honing his artistic skills led him to excel at the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College in Johannesburg, where he delved into the world of digital creation. He distinguished himself as one of the top students in his class, setting the stage for his future in art and design. This dedication and talent earned him a prestigious one-year scholarship to study art and design in China, where he chose to follow his dreams.
During his tenure at Suzhou Vocational University in China, Makena not only pursued his studies but also seized an extraordinary opportunity to serve as a mentor and teacher to fellow students pursuing art and design.
