Artist’s Description:

Kaone is a Setswana language origin which means well/better and the name is also not gender based. The name instills hope and faith in someone… Africa had dynamic civilizationsand it also had peripheral nations that had not developed to the same level as others. There is development and underdevelopment in all cultures because there is good and bad in everything.

This print is born from the design of overlapping tiger and frog patterns, a multidisciplinary collaboration to explore and discover the invisible Africa.
